Photography Day Classes
Dates: 23 May 2018 – 20 June 2018
Duration: Wednesday Mornings: 11:00am – 1:00pm
Location: Elgin (Venue to be announced)
This 5 week block of classes is ideal if you are new to photography or perhaps wish to gain a greater understanding of how to take more control of your camera to gain more consistent and predictable results.
The classes blend a mix of theoretical and practical work, aimed at promoting the key principles of photography. Theoretical work takes the form of PowerPoint presentations and discussion, and practical work consolidates the learning with task-based activities.
All Gary Murison Photography training options have been developed using a consistent underpinning knowledge base, allowing them to be taken as a stand-alone learning activity, or used as part of a longer, personal development path, via additional classes and workshops.
Photography Knowledge: No prior knowledge necessary
Equipment: Camera (with ability to alter Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO)
Mobility: Able to mobilise on solid paths. Outdoor activities will be chosen in accessible areas. Anyone requiring support to mobilise is welcome to have someone present, to assist, at the practical sessions.
Language: The classes and any handouts will be presented in English. You are welcome to organise your own interpreter if required.
