Overview

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this is a shorter version of the Astro Photography Experience Workshop, where we will not be meeting indoors.

The Astro Photography Experience offers an excellent opportunity to try out some night sky photography. This will include stars, planets and hopefully the Milky Way.

The session is going to be mainly practical work, with tips and tricks on getting consistent shots.

The workshop is open to all levels of photographer, including beginner.

 

Equipment

You will require a camera, which allows you to shoot in ‘manual’ and have control the ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture.

It is also recommended that you have a ‘fast lens’ (i.e ideally aperture f2.8 or greater). If you are not sure if your camera can do this, you are welcome to get in touch.

You will also require a tripod.

If you are unsure if your equipment is suitable, please get in touch.

 

Booking

Pre-Booking is required as place numbers are limited. Early booking is recommended.

As this event relies on clear skies, there is the possibility it may require to be cancelled at short notice.
