Overview
This bird photography day visits various locations at Forres, Burghead and Elgin. The actual locations and duration at each location can vary depending on bird activity and weather. On most days you will visit a mix of inland and coastal locations, giving a great variety of birds and activity.

During the day you will receive tips on taking stunning bird photographs, including birds in flight.

To get the most from the day you will require a lens of at least 200mm, although longer would be preferrable. If you are not sure, please get in touch

As with any workshop of this nature, there can be no guarantee of how many different species of bird you may see.

 

Eligibility

  • Camera with at least 200mm lens
  • Ability to mobilise on uneven surfaces
  • Own transport throughout the day

Please bring your own snacks and lunch. Shops will be available on route

ABOUT THE TUTOR
Gary is a commercial photographer and photography educator based in Forres. The photography business has been operating since 2011, utilisng Gary’s 20+ years experience in developing, delivering and evaluating professional training packages for all ages. Gary’s career began in the care sector, commencing as a First Level Mental Health Nurse, and progressing towards Management, then Training Management. He gained many useful skills during this career, transferring them into his photography and education business.
