Overview

This one day workshop  introduces you to the colourful and fascinating world of Japanese Cosplay. The day consists of theoretical and practical sessions, assisting you to produce eye-catching and beautiful images.

We are aided by two wonderful Cosplay models, Oliwia and Juliet, ensuring you get lots of options to practice different styles of shot.

If you own a flash and/or reflector, you are welcome to bring them along. allowing you to familiarise yourself with using your own equipment. Equipment will be available on the day should you not own one, or prefer not to use your own.

Equipment

You will require:

• Camera and lens (ideally between 24mm and 105mm)
• Battery capacity to last the day

Optional:

• Tripod
• Flash and relevant trigger/receiver (if you wish to use your own equipment)
• Reflector

Refreshments

• Please bring along your own lunch and snacks. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Eligibility

• 13 years and older (parents please contact if below 18)
• All skill level of photographer welcome although prior knowledge of the exposure triangle would be beneficial

About the Tutor

Gary commenced his photography business in 2022, offering a wide range of commercial and individual photography services and photography education options. Prior to this, he had a lengthy career in mental health care, management and training.
