Overview
This workshop explores hard lighting setups, allowing you to re-create the beautiful Hollywood Glamour portraits from the 1940’s.
The day blends a mixture of theory and practical sessions, offering lots of opportunities to develop your knowledge and practice your skills by working with model Gabriela.
You will be introduced to specific lighting modifiers, which create a similar style of light to the era, and instill confidence and competence in working with hard light.
Additional Information
If you own a flash/strobe and triggers, please bring along as it will allow the experience to be more personal to you and enable you to practice with familiar equipment.
Eligibility
Prior Learning: Ideally you have completed the Foundation Course (Taking Control of Your Camera) with myself, or can demonstrate sufficient theoretical knowledge on the underpinning principles of photography, with particular understanding of the Exposure Triangle.
Ages: 13 and over
