Overview

The Landscape Photography Day is held at stunning locations in the Cairngorms National Park.  

The afternoon begins with a visit to Lochan Uaine (The Green Loch), near Glenmore, befoere heading to Loch Morlich and other areas of beauty.

The end time allows those who wish to remain for the sunset (if conditions allow).

This workshop blends theory and practical sessions, aimed at increasing your competence, confidence and skills in creating beautiful landscapes.

The workshop is ideal for all skill levels.

Eligibility

More suitable to those who can walk distances of 1 – 2 miles on uneven ground

All skill levels of photographer welcome

Equipment

You will require a camera and suitable lens for landscape photography

A tripod or monopod can be useful, although not essential

ND, GND Filters and a Polarising Filter can be useful

Sufficient battery life to last for the duration of the workshop

If you are unsure if your equipment is suitable, please get in touch

Travel

To ensure your optimal safety from the pandemic, participants will be required to make their own travel arrangements for the workshop

Attire

As this is an outdoor workshop, please wear suitable attire for the weather conditions. The routes will be on dirt tracks, therefore sturdy footwear would be recommended.

Please bring along your own food, snacks tea/coffee.
