One Light Beauty Portrait Workshop

Overview

The aim of this one day workshop is to learn how to produce beauty portraits using just one main light. This, in turn allows for a very portable setup to be used for future your portraiture.

During the day you will learn about different modifiers and the different outcomes they produce while trying out your skills with model for the day, Lorna.

If you own a flash and/or reflector, you are welcome to bring them along. allowing you to familiarise yourself with using your own equipment. Equipment will be available on the day should you not own one, or prefer not to use your own.

Equipment

You will require:

• Camera and lens (ideally between 24mm and 105mm)
• Battery capacity to last the day

Optional:

• Tripod
• Flash and relevant trigger/receiver (if you wish to use your own equipment)
• Reflector

Eligibility

• 13 years and older (parents please contact if below 18)
• All skill level of photographer welcome although prior knowledge of the exposure triangle would be beneficial
