Overview

More than just documentation, street fashion photography is an art form that captures the essence of personal style, reflects cultural trends, and offers a glimpse into the styles of a particular place and time.

Forget the meticulously crafted environments of studio shoots. Street fashion thrives on spontaneity. It’s about finding beauty and inspiration in the raw, unscripted reality of everyday life. This dynamic approach makes it a challenging, yet incredibly rewarding, field for photographers.

Aided by a model you will have lots of time to plan, implement and evaluate your photo shoot. Locations will be chosen to work with the light, but you are also welcome to bring along a flash and triggers, should you own them, giving an additional experience.

Equipment

•  Camera and suitable lens for environmental portraiture
• Reflector (optional)
• Flash and trigger (optional)

Attire

As this is an outdoor workshop, please wear suitable attire for the weather conditions. The routes will be on relatively flat ground, although sturdy shoes or boots can be useful.

Lunch, Teas, Coffees

Please bring own lunch, snacks and drinks. Shops/cafes available on route.
