Overview
A creative photography day where you will be working through tasks, while receiving creative and technical advice and support on producing eye-catching photographs in everyday locations. We meet beside the Beach Ballroom, before heading off towards Duthie Park, via the harbour and riverside, stopping at interesting locations on route. From Duthie Park we return via the city centre.
We will stop for 30/45 mins for a lunch break, and have regular stops at interesting locations.
The workshop is suitable for all skill levels and aims to develop your photography eye,. allowing you to find and produce artistic shots in locations you may normally have just walked past.
Eligibility & Requirements

- Camera and lens
- Battery power to last the workshop
- Aged 16+
- Ability to mobilise approx. 7 miles (spread out over the day, with regular stops)
- Please bring along lunch and snacks (shops/cafe available on route if preferable)
Meeting
We will meet near to the Beach Ballroom between 10:45am – 11:00am (Free parking available along the beach front)

ABOUT THE TUTOR
Gary is a commercial photographer and photography educator based in Forres. The photography business has been operating since 2011, utilisng Gary’s 20+ years experience in developing, delivering and evaluating professional training packages for all ages. Gary’s career began in the care sector, commencing as a First Level Mental Health Nurse, and progressing towards Management, then Training Management. He gained many useful skills during this career, transferring them into his photography and education business.
