Overview

Art is all around us, and this creative photography workshop aims to help train your eye to finding beautiful and interesting photographs in everyday locations. We meet at Cooper Park and head off for a walk around Elgin, finding interesting locations. The workshop consists of a blend of theoretical and practical sessions, supporting your development and creative outlook.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Battery power to last the workshop
  • Aged 16+
  • Ability to mobilise approx. 4 miles (spread out over the workshop, with regular stops)
  • Please bring along a snack and drink (shops/cafe available on route if preferable)

ABOUT THE TUTOR
Gary is a commercial photographer and photography educator based in Forres. The photography business has been operating since 2011, utilisng Gary’s 20+ years experience in developing, delivering and evaluating professional training packages for all ages. Gary’s career began in the care sector, commencing as a First Level Mental Health Nurse, and progressing towards Management, then Training Management. He gained many useful skills during this career, transferring them into his photography and education business.
