Overview

Are you ready to explore what digital software can offer your art? At the end of the Course you will print an A2 copy of your artwork, produced by taking photographs and using digital processes to create a subject and eye-catching piece of art. The processes include a blend of theoretical and practical sessions on:

  • Taking photographs (indoor and outdoor)
  • Working with Layers and Masks
  • Adding Textures
  • Adding Text
  • Using Opacity
  • Altering Colours, Hues, Brightness

 

Eligibility

  • Aged 15 and over
  • Access to a camera or phone (with high resolution camera)
  • Access to laptop, which can connect to wi-fi
  • Ability to walk over uneven ground (i.e pebbles, sand)

 

Additional Info

  • Lunch, teas and coffees will be provided
  • Printing and materials included

Gary Murison came from a lengthy career, working in mental health nursing, management and training before establishing his commercial photography business in 2011. He offers a wide range of photography services and photography training & development options for all ages, throughout Scotland.
