This fully funded Project is a wonderful opportunity for the budding photographer to develop skills and learn how to produce eye-catching photographs. The aim of the Project is to explore how photography can be a powerful tool in creating positive emotions\, both for the photographer and the viewer of the photographs. \nTopics include: \n\nLight\nComposition\nPhoto Story-Telling\nCreative Thinking\n\nThe project is open to anyone aged 15 – 18 and runs over 5 Saturday sessions. \n  \nEligibility \n\nAged 15-18\nPhone or Camera\n\n  \nAbout the Tutor \nGary Murison came from a lengthy career\, working in mental health nursing\, management and training before establishing the photography business in 2011. DESCRIPTION:Bird Photography Day – Morayshire \nDate: 25 February 2025 \nDuration: 9:00am – 4:30pm\nMeeting: Sanquhar Loch\, Forres\nEligibility: All ages welcome\nCost: £145 \n  \nOverview\nThis bird photography day visits various locations at Forres\, Burghead and Elgin. The actual locations and duration at each location can vary depending on bird activity and weather. On most days you will visit a mix of inland and coastal locations\, giving a variety of birds and activity. \nDuring the day you will receive tips on taking stunning bird photographs\, including birds in flight. \nTo get the most from the day you will require a lens of at least 200mm\, although longer would be preferrable. If you are not sure\, please get in touch \nAs with any workshop of this nature\, there can be no guarantee of how many different speices of bird you will see. \n  \nEligibility \n\nCamera with at least 200mm lens\nAbility to mobilise on uneven surfaces\nTransport throughout the day\n\n  \nAdditional Info \nPlease bring your own snacks and lunch. He gained many useful skills during this career\, transferring them into his photography and education business.
