DESCRIPTION:Landscape Photography Morning – Aberlour & Craigellachie \n  \nDate: 28 July 2026 \nDuration: 7:30pm – 12:00pm \nMeeting: Aberlour \nCost: £105 \n  \nOverview \nLandscape photography is more than just capturing pretty pictures; it’s about telling stories\, evoking emotions\, and connecting with nature. \nThis relaxing workshop takes us to several locations in Aberlour and Craigellachie\, offering theoretical and practical experience into methods of achieving eye-catching landscape photographs. \nHighlights of the workshop include a visit to a picturesque waterfall\, river and woodland\, offering many opportunities to catpure the beautiful nature of the area. \n  \nEquipment \nTo get get the most out of the workshop you will require: \n\n– Camera\, which allows control of: ISO\, Shutter Speed and Aperture (contact if unsure)\n– One or more lenses\n– Tripod (optional\, but useful)\n– ND Filters and Polariser (optional)\n\n  \nEligibility \n\n16 years and older (parents please contact)\nAbility to walk approx. 5 miles throughout the day\, on woodland tracks (plenty ‘rest time’ available between walks)\nCar\n\n  \nRefreshments \n\nPlease bring along lunch/hot drinks (Shops available on route)\n\n  \nBooking \nPre-Booking is required as place numbers are limited. The actual locations and duration at each location can vary depending on bird activity and weather. On most days you will visit a mix of inland and coastal locations\, giving a great variety of birds and activity. \nDuring the day you will receive tips on taking stunning bird photographs\, including birds in flight. \nTo get the most from the day you will require a lens of at least 200mm\, although longer would be preferrable. If you are not sure\, please get in touch \nAs with any workshop of this nature\, there can be no guarantee of how many different species of bird you may see. \n  \nEligibility \n\nCamera with at least 200mm lens\nAbility to mobilise on uneven surfaces\nOwn transport throughout the day\n\nAdditional Info \nPlease bring your own snacks and lunch. Gary’s career began in the care sector\, commencing as a First Level Mental Health Nurse\, and progressing towards Management\, then Training Management. He gained many useful skills during this career\, transferring them into his photography and education business. \n  \n
